Philippe began building swimming pools in 1979, after completing building studies at the UNSW. His support and mentor in that first year was his father, Andre, himself an international entrepreneur, specialising in commercial and civic engineering, architecture and construction.

It was not long after that Philippe launched his first company, Diamond Pools. Four of Philippe's brothers, John, Henri, Michael and Pascal worked together with him, becoming known in the Sutherland Shire as the 'Diamond brothers'. Some dozen years later, in 1992, the brothers went their own way and Philippe and Dianka created Angelsea Pools.

From the very beginning, Philippe has involved himself in every stage of every swimming pool. From sitting down to talk through and design their pool, through to handing over the finished product, each client knows that their entire project is managed professionally by one person.

Angelsea Pools is not as big as what Diamond Pools used to be, but the guarantee of quality and professionalism has never changed. Attention to detail and the security of dealing with the proprieter from the outset is one of the most important aspects of the business.

Philippe's wife and partner can design and specify a garden to complement the swimming pool and outdoor entertaining areas. Qualified in horticulture and design, a plan for you to implement or a quote to create the garden environment, can be included in your pool project.
